Flat Bush was planned from scratch in the early 2000s, and you can tell. Streets of big two-storey family homes, lots of plaster, brick and painted cladding, and tidy front yards with wide concrete driveways. Over the years, the walls fade and go grubby, the eaves pick up cobwebs and mould, and the driveway darkens.
Big houses, high eaves
Two storeys means high walls and eaves you can't reach with a garden hose. It's also where dirt builds up, because the rain doesn't wash under the eaves.

- Brick gets a gentle wash to clear lichen and dark mortar.
