Water Blasting Auckland

Ready for the painter. Ready for the open home.

Quick answer

We do water blasting across Auckland, mostly to get a property ready for painting or sale. That means washing the walls, roof, joinery, paths and decks, each with the right method: high pressure for concrete, a low-pressure soft wash for paint and cladding. We protect windows and plants first. Weekday and weekend bookings, free quotes.

How to book: call or text 027 303 8398 (7am to 7pm, 7 days) or ask for a free quote online.

Part of our house wash & exterior services in Auckland.

"Water blasting" is what most Kiwis call any outside wash. In practice, what we do depends on what we're cleaning. Concrete gets the pressure. Painted walls and roofs get a gentler soft wash. You just get a clean property.

The two biggest reasons people book us for it: they're about to paint, or they're about to sell.

Pre-paint washing

A paint job is only as good as what it's going on to. Mould, salt, dust, cobwebs and loose chalky paint all stop new paint bonding properly, and it starts peeling early.

Before painting we:

  • wash the walls, eaves and joinery with a soft wash to kill mould and lift dirt
  • wash the roof if it's being painted too (see roof cleaning)
  • rinse thoroughly so there's no residue left
  • leave it to dry before the painter starts

If you've got a painter booked, give us their start date and we'll fit in ahead of them.

Pre-sale washing

Buyers decide a lot from the first photo and the walk up the drive. A wash before the photographer comes can make an older house look well looked after.

A pre-sale wash can cover:

  • the house walls and joinery
  • the roof and gutters
  • the driveway, paths and front steps
  • the deck and fences

How we protect your property

We close windows, protect plants and cover anything delicate before we start. Then we work from the top down so dirty water isn't running over clean surfaces. A final rinse and a walk-round to check we haven't missed anything.

Water blasting questions

Why does a house need washing before it's painted?

Paint doesn't stick to mould, chalky old paint, salt or dirt. If it goes on over the top, it peels early. Painters want a clean, dry surface.

How long before painting should the house be washed?

Close enough that it doesn't get dirty again, but with time to dry properly. Your painter will usually tell you. We can work to their start date.

Can you wash the house before an open home?

Yes. A clean house, roof, driveway and deck makes a big difference in listing photos and on open-home day. Let us know your photo date.

Do you use a water blaster on painted walls?

No. Painted walls and cladding get a soft wash. The water blaster is for concrete and hard surfaces.
